"Daily drowning best describes how living my life had become. I fought with myself to even consider therapy. However, each session ended up being a sweet experience – though I had my hands full as I worked through the things that had held me under water. "Name withheld for privacy
"My husband and I had stopped paying attention to our marriage and needed to fix our relationship. We were referred to Karen for couple’s therapy. My most profound awakening and growth occurred during my individual sessions, as I worked on issues that had shriveled my self-worth. Aiming at fixing me first set the stage for the return of compassion and passion in my marriage."Name withheld for privacy
"I spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars in traditional therapy – ever talking but never healing. EMDR has changed me, from the inside – out. And the word I use to describe my change is: permanent. I have faced my “trauma issues” and am no longer troubled by them. I am astounded at how happy I feel and am delighted that my family appreciates the changes in me."Name withheld for privacy
